Dodgeville School District Community Gives: Stock The Rooms

A Community Classroom Supply Drive

Our classrooms are filled with eager learners and dedicated teachers!  Per many requests to provide support due to the past two failed referendums we’re launching a community-wide effort to stock every classroom with the tools needed for learning, enrichment, and student well-being across the Dodgeville School District.

Every donation sends a powerful message to our kids and staff: We believe in you. Your success and contributions matter.

This is a moment for all of us - parents, grandparents, neighbors, alumni, and local businesses - to come together and show the next generation that we’ve got their backs.  Together, we can ensure every student has access to the resources they need to succeed!

From hands-on science kits and creative art materials to updated technology and transportation for field trips, your donation will directly support our kids and their education!

Our Primary Goal: Fund Classroom Supplies

Here’s How You Can Help

  • Amazon Wish List
    • Goal: everything on the wish list
    • Purchase essential classroom supplies and they’ll ship directly to the school!
    • Amazon Wish List
      • Tip: view the wishlist in “list” form to see how many of each item are needed
  • Walmart Gift Cards
    • Goal: $9,375
    • Gift cards are used to keep our hands-on, real-world learning experiences running smoothly. It also covers last minute supplies that can’t be purchased in advance.

  • Cash Donations for other vendors
    • Goal: $49,000
    • Cash donations allow us to purchase items from other vendors. Here are a few of the 100+ items requested by the teachers:
      • Science Supplies (frog dissection kits, aquaculture equipment, grow towers)
      • Art Supplies (paint, clay, sketchbooks, and other creative supplies)
      • Phy Ed Equipment (balls, cones, and fitness gear)
      • Musical Instruments
      • Scholastic Subscriptions & Classroom Novels
      • Software licenses for supporting learning (eg Quizlet and VOCES Digital)

  • Sponsor a Larger Project
Looking to make an even greater impact? Consider sponsoring a major classroom upgrade!
    • Goal: $93,256
      • Teacher Workstation Technology
        • Goal: $36,000
        • Help us update some of our teacher’s computers.  Each of the past two years we have declined teachers the option to get their computers updated even though they were at the end of the renewal cycle. In the next year they will no longer be able to update their operating systems without replacing the computers. This is what we would like to update this year:
        • Quantity: 30 computers
        • Cost: $1,200 per computer
      • Teacher Interactive Displays
        • Goal: $50,00
        • We are seeking support to update interactive teaching displays in classrooms across our district. Over the past two years, we have deferred replacing outdated displays—only approving replacements when devices have completely failed. This approach was necessary as we worked to stretch resources and reassess every dollar in our budget.
Now, we are aiming to resume a sustainable upgrade cycle by replacing interactive displays in 10 classrooms. Updating these displays will ensure our teachers have the tools they need to deliver engaging, modern instruction that supports all learners.
        • Quantity: 10 classrooms
        • Cost: $5000 per interactive display
      • LED Lighting for Elementary Classrooms
        • Goal: $7256
        • Improve the learning environment and also the energy efficiency of the classrooms. This is what we would like to update this year:
        • Quantity: 8 classrooms
        • Cost: $907 per classroom
