Within the Dodgeville School District we use the following types of safety responses:
● Hold
● Secure (Prepare to Run, Hide, Fight)
● Lockdown (Activate Run, Hide, or Fight)
The safety responses prioritize communication and safety for those involved as well as maintaining each participant's privacy during confidential matters.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Each year, we carefully review and update our safety response protocols to ensure we are prepared for any emergency. This year, we have updated the vocabulary and classifications for various safety events to help families better understand each type of event and our corresponding response.
