Yearbook is in need of candid photos from Homecoming! Please email Ms Perry your HOCO photos and they may end up in the Yearbook! Questions see Ms Perry in the Library!


Spring Play Tech sign up is now posted on the bulletin board outside the art room and on the Google Classroom. Code 32mprv. Must be signed up by Thursday December 19th, mandatory meeting will be held on the 19th in A2 during advisory. 


Auditions for the Spring Play “For Whom the Tinkerbell Tolls, by Ray Sheers will be held on Tuesday, December 17 and Thursday, December 19 from 4:00-6:00pm in the DHS Choir Room. Audition forms are located just outside the Choir room on the bulletin board. The envelope for turning this information in is located outside of District Office, across from the Athletic Director’s office.

Audition materials will be dropped into classroom on Sunday, December 9.  Don’t forget to take a peek at this too! Information about the Spring Play can be found in Google Classroom [32mprv]


Would you like some help with homework?  On Tuesdays and Thursdays in advisory you can be tutored by students from NHS. Some of the best students in the school are available to help get you back on track. There is no subject we can't help you with.  Ask your teacher if tutoring may be right for you!


Club/Organization  Announcements:

Key Clubbers!  Make sure you plan to attend this week's Key Club meeting!  We will have sign ups for volunteer events, announce the member of the month, kick off our December service project, and much more!  See you Wednesday during advisory!


Winter is coming and the temperatures are dropping. Key Club is sponsoring “Deck the Toes” from December 11th - 18th. They are collecting socks and other winter apparel to donate to the Family Advocate’s Program of Iowa County and SWCAP. Key Club officers have set a goal of 200 pairs of new socks to be donated by Wednesday, the 18th. So, drop your socks in the donation box by the front office. Please help them reach their goal for this very worthy cause.


Key Club is running the concessions for the Girls Basketball game this Thursday, Dec 12, and your help is needed!  Sign up for one shift or two by stopping by Mrs. Kulcinski's room or going to the Key Club classroom.


Key Clubbers:  Your help is needed with bell ringing for the Salvation Army.  We are sharing days with Kiwanis members and there are still many open slots.  Dates are:

  1. Saturday, Dec 14, @ Farm & Fleet

  2. Saturday, Dec 21, @ Walgreen's

Bell ring with a friend or join a Kiwanis member.  Your help is needed and greatly appreciated! Sign up in the Key Club classroom or stop by room F14!


Speech/Forensics begins practice this week.  If you have not chosen a topic, see Ms. Kliebenstein ASAP.  Check classroom for practice times and plan to attend.


NHS T-Shirts are in!  If you have already paid come to Mr. Dorscheid's room and pick up your shirt.  Otherwise, bring your $8 in ASAP.


If you are looking to join DECA please get dues to Mr. Schaaf ASAP. All DECA members should check into google classroom to put in their t-shirt sizes along with ordering extra apparel if needed. DECA officers please see Mr. Schaaf to pick up forms ASAP.  The classroom code is bm1fen
